Learning does not have to end when the class ends or the article closes. A short review gives you a way to connect new ideas with your ongoing development.
What did I understand?
Write one idea that became clearer. Use ordinary language. The goal is to capture your understanding, rather than reproduce the instructor’s exact wording.
What is still uncertain?
Name one question you cannot answer confidently. Keep it specific enough that you could ask it in a future class or use it to guide further reading.
What is my next learning step?
Choose a small action: review your notes, read a related article, or ask the instructor for clarification. Set a time to return to it. A next step that is clear and manageable is easier to follow through on.
Keep a learning journal
Use a notebook or a simple document with the date, the topic, and your three answers. Over time, those entries show both what you have learned and the questions that keep recurring.
One clear idea. One honest question. One next step.
Tactical Orientation Through Applied Learning is an ongoing process. Reflection helps you make that process deliberate, one lesson at a time.
